The study evaluates their advantages and disadvantages in terms of steady-state and dynamic performance. Special focus is given to the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) method for tracking reference voltage vectors to control STATCOM current generation, with implementation of adjustable DC-side voltage control.
