Relay Systems for Extending Cellular Coverage Range

Relay systems are gaining increasing attention due to their ability to extend cellular coverage, improve throughput for cell-edge users, and maintain low implementation costs. This document simulates the achievable data rates in relay systems using MATLAB-based modeling with focus on signal propagation algorithms and throughput calculation functions.
