With the significant development of the cellular mobile communication market, the next generation of communication will be mobile multimedia communication. To address this issue, we introduce mathematical models and concepts from microeconomics along with game theory. In this study, call quality is termed "utility," and distributed power control for CDMA telephone communications is modeled as a non-cooperative game, which can be algorithmically implemented through iterative optimization processes.
