A detailed simulation analysis was conducted using MATLAB Simulink to model practical wind turbines operating under islanded conditions. This study incorporates wind turbine design parameters and performance characteristics while simulating operational scenarios in isolated grid environments. Through the simulation analysis, we evaluated the performance metrics of wind turbines in islanded operation modes and proposed improvement and optimization strategies. The MATLAB implementation utilizes Simulink's power systems toolbox to model turbine dynamics, power converters, and control systems, with specific focus on frequency and voltage stability algorithms for autonomous operation. This research provides significant insights for understanding and enhancing wind power technology applications in remote islanded areas, featuring implementation of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms and grid-forming control strategies within the Simulink environment.
