In this article, we will develop MATLAB simulation code to analyze the bit error rate performance of OFDM systems. The encoding scheme for OFDM will employ BPSK as the modulation technique. We will enhance system performance through signal encoding algorithms and investigate how different coding schemes impact the bit error rate. Our implementation will include key functions such as constellation mapping for BPSK modulation, IFFT/FFT operations for OFDM signal processing, and channel modeling with AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise). Additionally, we will explore optimization techniques for OFDM system performance to achieve optimal bit error rates under various channel conditions. Through systematic variation of coding schemes, modulation parameters, and channel characteristics, we will observe corresponding changes in system performance metrics. This research will provide deeper insights into OFDM system behavior and offer practical guidance for real-world applications, including code implementation strategies for performance evaluation and optimization approaches.
