In this paper, we conduct simulations to evaluate the detection performance of two V-BLAST receiver algorithms - Zero-Forcing (ZF) and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE). The implementation involves layered signal detection where ZF uses pseudo-inverse matrix operations while MMSE incorporates noise statistics in its weight calculations. We generate BER-SNR curves that demonstrate the trade-off between interference cancellation and noise enhancement in these detectors. These experimental results provide valuable insights for performance assessment and selection criteria of MIMO receiver architectures in wireless communication systems.
