In this document, I present a MATLAB-based OFDM simulation program that implements QAM modulation for subcarriers with 4 subchannels. The simulation models the complete OFDM transmission chain, including QAM symbol mapping for each subcarrier, IFFT transformation for multicarrier signal generation, and channel modeling with additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). Key MATLAB functions employed include qammod for constellation mapping, ifft for orthogonal frequency division, and berawgn for bit error rate analysis. This program enables comprehensive performance evaluation of the OFDM system, particularly analyzing the impact of subcarrier modulation schemes and channel count variations. Through parameter tuning of modulation order and channel configurations, the simulation provides insights into OFDM system optimization. This practical tool facilitates deeper understanding and application of OFDM technology in research and development scenarios.
