MATLAB Simulation of Narrowband Multipath Signals

Resource Overview

MATLAB simulation of narrowband multipath signals with wireless propagation channel modeling code implementation

Detailed Documentation

The objective of this project is to perform MATLAB simulation of narrowband multipath signals by developing code to model wireless propagation channels. We will implement the simulation using MATLAB programming language and simulate different propagation environments and channel characteristics through parameter adjustments. The implementation will involve key functions such as channel impulse response generation, multipath delay profile configuration, and signal convolution operations. Through this simulation model, we can better understand the characteristics of narrowband multipath signals and provide references for the design and optimization of wireless communication systems. The simulation approach includes creating tapped-delay line models, implementing Rayleigh or Rician fading channels, and analyzing signal performance metrics like bit error rate and signal-to-noise ratio.
