Detailed Documentation
This program provides capacity simulation for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) adopted in 3GPP LTE-Advanced standards. According to 3GPP specifications, DAS is introduced in LTE-A networks as a novel antenna architecture to enhance network capacity and coverage. The simulation implements distributed antenna deployment models where antennas are strategically positioned at different locations to effectively reduce signal interference during propagation and improve user experience. The codebase includes key components such as path loss calculation, interference modeling, and capacity estimation algorithms based on Shannon's formula. Through comprehensive simulation scenarios, the program evaluates LTE-A network performance under various configurations, enabling optimization of network parameters and resource allocation strategies to achieve higher capacity and superior network performance. The implementation features modular design with configurable parameters for antenna spacing, power allocation, and user distribution patterns.
