RBF neural networks (Radial Basis Function neural networks) are machine learning models commonly employed for approximating nonlinear systems. The architecture of RBF neural networks typically consists of three layers: input layer, hidden layer, and output layer. Additionally, optimal determination of radial basis function centers and width parameters requires careful tuning. Common implementation approaches include using clustering algorithms (like k-means) to initialize centers and optimization algorithms (such as gradient descent) for parameter adjustment. In practical applications, RBF neural networks find utility in time series prediction, control system modeling, pattern recognition, and various other domains.
