First, we can utilize the fspecial function to generate a motion-blurred image. The fspecial function in MATLAB creates predefined filters, where for motion blur we typically specify parameters like motion length and angle. Following this, we apply Wiener filtering to restore the degraded image. Wiener filtering serves as an effective method for reducing both image blur and noise interference. This algorithm leverages the statistical properties of images to enhance clarity and preserve fine details. The fundamental principle of Wiener filtering involves adjusting the image's frequency spectrum to counteract the effects of motion blur. Through spectral modification and noise power ratio considerations, the filter optimally reconstructs the image. Consequently, we obtain a restored image with significantly improved sharpness and overall quality, demonstrating the practical implementation of digital image restoration techniques.
