Research and Simulation of Vector Control Technology for AC Motors

Resource Overview

Research and MATLAB simulation of vector control technology for asynchronous motors, including implementation of field-oriented control algorithms and system modeling

Detailed Documentation

In this paper, we investigate the research and simulation of vector control technology for AC motors. Specifically, we examine how to implement vector control for induction motors using MATLAB simulation. This control technique represents a significant research direction in modern motor control, capable of enhancing motor efficiency and performance while contributing to reduced energy consumption and environmental impact. The paper provides detailed explanations of the principles and implementation methods of AC motor vector control technology, accompanied by corresponding simulation results to validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the approach. Our implementation includes Clarke and Park transformations for coordinate system conversion, space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) techniques, and proportional-integral (PI) controllers for current regulation. We believe the research findings presented will benefit scholars and engineers in the motor control field and potentially serve as valuable references for future developments in motor control technology.
