Resource Overview
This study refines traditional distributed power control by designing a non-negative cost function based on user transmission power and signal-to-interference ratio (SIR). The algorithm employs MATLAB simulations to demonstrate effectiveness in network performance optimization.
Detailed Documentation
Building upon conventional distributed power control methods, this work establishes a cost function based on user transmission power and signal-to-interference ratio (SIR), ensuring non-negativity and guaranteeing a strictly positive minimum value. We implement a cost-function-based power control algorithm that continuously adjusts transmission power using feedback mechanisms comparing current SIR with target thresholds. For validation, we developed a MATLAB simulation framework incorporating key functions like iterative power updates and interference calculations. The simulation results demonstrate significant performance improvements in network throughput and stability across diverse environmental conditions, indicating broad practical applicability for wireless communication systems.
